# Export OrderPro by Menelabs

> Export OrderPro is a Shopify embedded app that lets merchants export order data into fully customisable reports. 
It provides custom column layouts, five report grouping modes, advanced two-layer filters (native Shopify API filters + 
post-processing filters), four output file formats, and scheduled automated delivery to multiple destinations. 
It does not write to or modify any Shopify order data.

## Output formats

- **Excel** (.xlsx) — opens in Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice, and Apple Numbers. Supports worksheet splitting into separate tabs.
- **CSV** — fully configurable: separator (comma, tab, semicolon, pipe, or custom), file extension, header row on/off, newlines in fields, decimal format (dot or comma), and file encoding / codepage.
- **HTML** — browser-viewable report, shareable as a public link without sending a file attachment.
- **XML** — for data import into external systems and integrations.

## Report grouping modes

Reports can group order data in five ways:
- **Order lines** — one row per product variant per order (default, ideal for fulfilment/dispatching)
- **Product variants** — rows grouped by variant across all orders (best-sellers, bulk dispatch, restocking)
- **One per order** — one row per order with all products combined (financial summaries, daily sales)
- **Fulfillments** — fulfilled order lines only; unfulfilled lines are excluded
- **Product combined** — one row per product, aggregating all variants across all orders

A **worksheet splitter** can further split any report by a chosen column value (e.g. by country, vendor, or tag), creating separate Excel worksheets or HTML page sections per value.

## Filter system

Filters operate in two layers:

**Native filters** (fast, applied at the Shopify API level):
- Fulfillment Status
- Financial Status
- Order Status

**Post-processing filters** (applied after data is retrieved, supports any order attribute):
- Operators: `!value` (exclude), `*` (any non-empty), `!*` (empty only)
- Multiple values per filter are OR-combined
- Dynamic date filter using `date(format; daysDiff)` — e.g. `date(yyyy-mm-dd;-1)` evaluates to yesterday at run time
- Filters can be saved as named presets and reused across reports and automations

## Automation (scheduled exports)

Automate report generation and delivery on a schedule.

**Schedule frequencies:**
- Sub-daily: every 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, or 48 hours
- Daily (runs at 00:01, configurable time)
- Weekdays (Mon–Fri)
- Mon, Wed, Fri
- Mon & Thu
- Weekly (every Monday, or a custom day)
- Monthly (1st of month, or a custom day)

Each automation has a configurable start date, end date, and date range for the orders it retrieves. Empty reports can be suppressed or exported depending on use case.

## Automation delivery destinations

**Email** — attach the report file or send as a shareable link. Supports multiple recipients (comma or semicolon separated). Configurable sender name.

**FTP** — upload to any FTP server. Supports FTP, FTPS, and SFTP protocols. Configurable directory path. Includes a test-connection tool and firewall IP whitelist for restricted servers.

**Webhook** — HTTP POST or GET request to any public URL when a report is generated. Compatible with IFTTT and similar automation services.

**Public URL** — the report is published to a fixed URL that is overwritten on each run. Share the URL with partners; they always retrieve the latest version by refreshing.

## Live report

A real-time in-app order viewer that applies report designs and filters without generating a file. Displays up to 1,000 orders, auto-refreshes every 5 minutes, and reflects configuration changes immediately. Does not export or deliver files.

## What this app does NOT do

- Does not create, update, or delete Shopify orders, products, customers, or any store data
- Does not support import of data into Shopify
- Does not provide sales analytics or charts (it exports raw order data)
